About Us
Respecting Indian culture is at the heart of what Laura has envisoned for this brand.
On The Back of Jasper works closely with skilled silversmiths to learn about traditional reticulation, techniques from all over India, and in particular, Rajasthani showmanship to create a stunning blend of Indian-Nordic pieces.
Laura came to India for the first time in 2019. In 2022, she started On The Back of Jasper, a small touring jewellery business based in the UK.
Laura prefers to make jewellery in Rajasthan, and states that beautiful Pushkar lake was her first inspiration to make jewellery that reflected the textures of her beloved India.
